Terms of use

Last updated: 4 October 2026

This is a translation provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.

These terms govern the use of What Should I Play Now?. By using the website you accept them; if you don't agree, please don't use it. The owner is listed in the legal notice.

1. The service

The website is free and requires no registration. It offers video game recommendations, a catalogue with game pages, a blog and features based on public Steam data: choosing from your games, Library Battle (comparing two profiles) and Play with friends (games several profiles have in common). We may change, expand or withdraw features at any time.

2. Recommendations and information

Recommendations are calculated by an algorithm using our editorial classification and are for guidance only. Prices, reviews, compatibility and other game data come from Steam and other public sources as of the date shown, and may contain errors or have changed. Check the information in the store before buying. If you spot an error, get in touch.

3. Steam features

  • They only work with profiles whose data is public on Steam. We don't try to access private information or get around anyone's privacy settings.
  • You can enter other people's profiles in Library Battle and Play with friends. Do so respectfully: don't use these features to harass, humiliate or single anyone out. Share links show the names, avatars and game data of those profiles. Anyone who doesn't want to appear can exclude their profile, after which it can't be used here.
  • If you are under 14, ask your parent or guardian for permission before connecting your Steam account or using these features.
  • The data depends on Steam: if Steam doesn't respond, hides data or changes its service, the features may fail or stop being available.
  • This website is not affiliated with Valve or Steam. Your Steam account is governed by Steam's terms.

4. Acceptable use

The following is not allowed:

  • Making mass or automated requests (bots, scripts) to extract data from the website or from Steam profiles, or getting around usage limits.
  • Trying to access non-public parts of the website, interfering with how it works or overloading it.
  • Using the website for unlawful purposes or in ways that infringe other people's rights.

We may limit or block access for anyone who breaks these rules.

5. Intellectual property

The texts, the game classification and the design of the website belong to its owner. You may not copy them on a large scale or reuse them for commercial purposes without permission. Game names, trademarks and images belong to their respective owners.

6. Liability

We provide the website as is, without guaranteeing that it will always be available or free of errors. We are not responsible for purchasing decisions made on the basis of the recommendations, or for the content, prices or operation of third-party sites we link to, including Steam. Nothing above limits the rights the law gives you as a consumer.

7. Privacy

How we process data is explained in the privacy policy and the cookie policy.

8. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the version in force is the one published on this page, with its date. They are governed by Spanish law. For any questions, write to us at alexvelascoperez21@gmail.com.
