A remake of the first Mafia: a 1930s cab driver joins the Salieri family and rises through the ranks in the Prohibition years across 20 linear, cutscene-heavy missions, with cover-based shootouts and chases through Lost Heaven.

Why play it now

When you fancy a playable gangster film for a couple of weekends: the story takes around 10 hours.

Who it's for

For anyone after a good mob story with great performances rather than a world packed with chores.

When not to pick it

If you want freedom: outside the story, Free Ride mode has little content, says one review.
