Cavern of Dreams
A 3D platformer in the Nintendo 64 mould: a young dragon hunts for his siblings' stolen eggs across four worlds linked by a central cave. The eggs earn you new abilities, such as gliding, and there's no combat: just jumping and puzzles.
Why play it now
When you fancy a short adventure for a couple of evenings: finishing it takes about five hours, and completing it about eight.
Who it's for
For anyone who grew up with Banjo-Kazooie or Spyro and wants to go hunting for collectibles in polygon worlds again.
When not to pick it
If an old-school camera frustrates you: you have to keep an eye on it, and a fall sends you back to the last door.
