  • Shooter
  • Multiplayer
  • War

A First World War shooter with online battles of up to 64 players: you pick a class (assault, medic, support or scout), jump into tanks, biplanes or onto horseback, and in Operations the attack pushes on from one map to the next.

Why play it now

When you've got an hour to spare: an Operations match strings several maps together and can last that long.

Who it's for

For anyone after huge, chaotic trench battles with vehicles and a historical setting.

When not to pick it

If you're in it for the campaign: five short stories, about 8 hours, that one review calls tacked on.

What it offers

  • Combat / action: 95 out of 100
  • Competing: 80 out of 100
  • Thinking: 35 out of 100
